The weather looks absolutely incredible, and the music from the Maine Craft Music Festival is setting the perfect backdrop for a great party! It is obvious to us at the Maine Stay Inn that each of the Historic Inns of Kennebunkport has a different personality, but that’s because we know all of the inns and innkeepers well.
We think it’s actually hard to pick up on that by just viewing our online presences, but it’s something we love for visitors to Kennebunkport to see firsthand!
Just like people, each of the inns has a different personality that really shines through when you visit. And since all of the inns work together throughout the year, and that is something that all the visitors of the Garden Party enjoy getting to experience. Plus, being invited to snoop is even better!
But socializing with other visitors to Kennebunkport over food is what I really love about the Garden Party! And with classic Maine treats like whoopie pies, lobster rolls, and much much more, you’re belly is sure to enjoy the afternoon too! Some people find the social aspect of staying at a bed and breakfast a bit anxiety-provoking, but going to an afternoon party puts everyone at ease. (Fortunately, the Maine Stay offers the option of breakfast delivered to any suite to put your mind at ease if the idea of sharing a breakfast table isn’t up your alley).
Over the past several years, the Maine Stay Inn has totally overhauled our expansive gardens, with new additions all the time, so there is lots to explore and blooming flowers to enjoy. Don’t miss the latest addition – a large vegetable and herb garden complete with plenty of seating and a water feature to enjoy.
