It’s hard to believe that Memorial Day has already come and gone, and that means Father’s Day is just around the corner. Kennebunkport Maine is gearing up to celebrate the special men in our lives and prepare for LAUNCH! A Maritime Festival. So it’s time to start planning that special celebration for Father’s Day 2018, because June 17, 2018 is coming soon!
What could be better for the dad in your life than a weekend free from the to-do list and an escape to the Maine Coast with great food, local beers, and outdoor activities galore?
Stroll around town and take in the fun events of LAUNCH! festival this Father’s Day Weekend
Spend an afternoon enjoying a brewery tour at Kennebunkport Brewing Company (the home of Shipyard Ales) or pop in to the bar at Federal Jack’s Brew Pub for a tasting overlooking Kennebunkport Harbor. When you find your favorite, make sure to head downstairs to the KBC Store and pick up a six pack of his favorites to enjoy at him! But for the real beer aficionado in your family, head a few miles north to the Shipyard Ale mothership in Portland. Their brewery tours and enjoy beer tastings are stellar, and you’ll find some of the widest varieties around.
And while Dad might not admit it, he likes breakfast in bed just as much as Mom, and fortunately our Maine bed and breakfast can make that happen in any of our suites. He can have breakfast in his jammies with our gourmet meal delivered right to his door.
Here at the Maine Stay, we are celebrating all the Dads around with our “Dogs for Dads” celebration in honor of Father’s Day Weekend.
