Every June an exciting food, wine, and art festival comes to town and this year is no exception, as we welcome the Kennebunkport Festival 2015! So this year from June 8th-13th (or as few or many as you would like!) you can indulge in the finest dining prepared by chefs from the most influential restaurants in Maine.
And the Festival gets even better, because while you can choose from events at local fine dining restaurants or at incredible private residences throughout Kennebunkport Maine that are open exclusively for these events. Wine and spirits more your style? Cocktail parties and after parties at different restaurants each night, a casual event featuring local beers, as well as the Grand Tapas party, featuring products from esteemed (and local!) brands like Cellardoor Winery.
This isn’t your average food and wine festival, though. What sets this event apart from other festivals is the incorporation of the arts – the arts scene is one of the best parts about Kennebunkport. Stunning galleries dot the streets of Kennebunkport year round, offering ample opportunities to for your viewing pleasure, but this week some of the most talented artists gather their works for viewing all together with phenomenal edible delights. Worried about committing to an Art of Dining dinner? There are tons of other activities to enjoy without committing to an elegant dinner. The luxe cocktail hours, Brews and Tunes (a beer tasting with live music) or any of the After Parties at night are all great ways to ease into the Kennebunkport Festival experience. But no matter whether you participate in the festival or not, you can still enjoy the wonderful weather that graces Kennebunkport Maine during June, the amazing restaurants, stunning galleries, and other events held throughout town that aren’t part of the official festival.
